Southern Railway Headquarters


  Southern Railway Headquarters at around 1930.  The foundation stone for the building was done by Lord Pentland Governor of Madras on 8th Feb 1915. It was declared open in Dec 1922. The central towers raise to a height of 125 feet and the corner towers houses water tanks. See the Ovaltine advertisement on the left hand corner near the tree.
